Westchester Progressives is a community-driven political organization dedicated to advancing equity, accountability, and people-centered policy throughout Westchester County. We bring together residents, advocates, and leaders who are committed to building a more just, transparent, and inclusive local political landscape.
Westchester Progressives believes that lasting change begins with informed and active participation. Through civic education, leadership development, and coalition building, the organization prepares individuals to take on roles such as District Leaders, community advocates, and local public officials.
Our Mission
Westchester Progressives advances economic and social justice, protects civil rights and the full dignity of all people, and ensures that government serves the interests of the people, not political donors and corporations. We challenge militarism, racism, and unbridled capitalism as interconnected threats to our communities. We work to build people power, support, and hold accountable progressive candidates who challenge the status quo, protect the rights and dignity of vulnerable and marginalized communities, advance bold climate action, and advocate for policies that promote equity, accountability, and collective well-being. Westchester Progressives operates independently within the Democratic ecosystem while maintaining principled engagement with party structures.
